There has been a change to the programme. Unfortunately, due to ill health, Arthur Craven will not be able to visit us on 15 March. We now have booked Brian Lancaster who will give us a demonstration in portrait painting in oil.

The 64th Annual Art Exhibition will be held from 21st April until 9 June at the Smith Art Gallery. This gives members plenty of time to create some new masterpieces!

Congratulations to Sue Smith (1st), Jean Webster(2nd), Bill Wells(3rd) and Brian Edwards (Captain's Choice) at the Lightcliffe Golf Club open art exhibition and competition in December 2011.

Good news. Waring Green Committe has agreed for us to exhibit paintings in the tea room area. We will be able to use the space for another 'painting of the month'.

Thanks to Gwen Hawdon who has donated a large amount of fantastic art books. They are all in lovely condition and will be a great asset to our library. Thanks again to Gwen, the books are really appreciated.
